HAPPY!

Hi there. This post is about one of the "things" that makes me the happiest. It's my nephew, Sebastian. I love him with all of my heart. Just look, can you blame me? He is quite a charmer. Look at that smirk as he gets into things... 

As a confession, I stole these photos directly from my sister Dana's blog. 

ALSO, I'm getting married in... 26 days! So maybe Sebastian isn't the sole owner of my heart! ;)

Odd

And I don't mean odd as in not even. I mean odd as in unusual. Typically something random or funny will happen around me every day... usually I notice such things while driving, especially since I practically live in my car. Well that and I work with teenagers every day.

The thing is, ever since I started this blog, my world seems void of the crazy randomness that makes my life hilarious. What the?!?

That means "today" in Portuguese. So I've been meaning to start a blog for a while, but like many things, I keep waiting. For something. It's funny, really. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of patience... but not if you are waiting for an elusive mystery that will never materialize!! If you don't know what you are waiting for, or if you are waiting for things to be perfect, you will waste your life waiting. That is why I am starting my blog TODAY. Even though I have nothing deep to reveal and nothing funny to report...yet.

Dr. Seuss once said, “Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.” I agree. That is all I have to say for now.
